Brownstown Apprenticeship - Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d)

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
  • During your 3 1/2-year apprenticeship, you will develop into a specialist (m/f/d) in the field of maintenance.
  • You will acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in metalworking and electrical engineering.
  • You will also learn the basics of control technology, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • You will also learn about measurement and testing procedures and programming of PLC controls.
  • You will develop core competencies not only for planning and installation, but also for commissioning and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Your practical training will take place at our location in Waldfeucht-Haaren, as well as in our training workshop in Übach-Palenberg. Your theoretical knowledge will be taught during regular vocational school lessons at the Mies van der Rohe School in Aachen.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
  • You have a middle school diploma or a good secondary school diploma.
  • You have good grades in natural science subjects (especially physics and mathematics).
  • You have an interest in working with technical devices, machines, and systems, and possess manual dexterity.
  • You are a team player, reliable, responsible, and motivated.
