    JOB DESCRIPTION
    The skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for the Office Supervisor role are outlined below:

    GENERAL SUMMARY

    The Office Supervisor manages the daily activities of the front office staff to ensure efficient operations, service delivery, and financial aspects of the front area. Responsibilities include:

    • Assisting in new hire interviews and providing ongoing training
    • Supervising Front Office Staff and maintaining proper scheduling
    • Monitoring staff schedules and overseeing time and attendance/payroll
    • Resolving issues, conducting performance reviews, and handling daily charges/banking
    • Providing relief for various positions as required
    • Verifying patient records and overseeing documentation
    • Ordering office supplies and participating in educational activities

    Acts as a team player:
    collaborates, communicates clearly, and cooperates with all stakeholders. Performs other duties as assigned.

    CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSURES OR REGISTRY REQUIREMENTS
    N/A

    KNOWLEDGE | SKILLS | ABILITIES
    - Knowledge of healthcare field, medical office protocols/procedures
    - Understanding of medical terminology, coding systems, and clinic functions
    - Proficiency in check-in/out processes, referrals, insurance, and scheduling
    - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    - Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and use computer programs efficiently

    Complies with health and safety policies and HIPAA regulations.

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
    High School Diploma or equivalent; College courses or Associate's degree preferred.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
    Minimum 6 months of supervisory experience in a medical office.
