The German Cancer Research Center is the largest biomedical research institution in Germany, with over 3,000 employees dedicated to cancer research.

In collaboration with seven renowned university partners, we have established the German Cancer Consortium (DKTK).

We are currently seeking a part-time hours/week) scientist in the field of biosciences to join our team at the DKTK Berlin partner site.

The position will be based in the Division of Tumor Immunology, led by Prof. Dr. med. Sebastian Ochsenreither, at the Department of Hematology, Oncology and Cancer Immunology, Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin.


Job Description:

As part of a joint funding project involving four partner sites, the selected candidate will be responsible for scientific coordination at the Charité site


This includes:

  • Coordinating science collaborations and network activities
  • Developing standard procedures for sample acquisition, processing, and shipping, and implementing quality control measures in collaboration with researchers
  • Organizing sample entry to Charité / BIH laboratories
  • Coordinating and executing standardized data management protocols with consortia partners
