You will lead the Contamination Control group within the Microbiology department.

The department is divided into 3 teams with 2 supervisors:
Microbial Environmental Monitoring, Water and Utilities, and Contamination Control/Sterility Assurance. In this leadership position, you will manage a team of approximately 15 employees according to Takeda's principles and values.


Your main responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the work organization of the group and setting priorities
  • Representing the team's topics in audits and inspections as a subject matter expert
  • Acting as an interface with production areas, engineering, other quality departments, and other microbiological laboratories
  • Leading the implementation of measures for continuous process optimization
  • Reviewing and approving SOPs
  • Implementing global and local requirements at the site
  • Initiating and supporting measures in the context of deviations, change requests, and audit observations
  • Leading quality control (LdQ) for microbiology and utilities
  • Conducting regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Conducting employee discussions, setting goals, and evaluating your team members
  • Identifying development needs in the assigned area

Your profile:

  • Completed degree in the field of hygiene, hygiene technology, or a similar
