DESCRIPTION:


Manages the day to day operations of healthcare clinic(s) or center (s) to include fiscal, humanresources, and practice management operations.


Key Responsibilities:


Implements and monitors the financial process for a comprehensive view of current and forecasted clinic performance, to include revenues, costs, industry trends, and reimbursements.

Manages the clinical and operational functions and staff. Recommends allocation of staff, space, equipment, and other resources to optimize the delivery of clinical services. Implements quality improvement systems. Ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Researches and prepares proposals for facilities expansion, satellite development, construction, space planning, capital equipment requests, and staffing needs. Responsible for employee recruitment, performance evaluation, progressive discipline, and staff development. Works collaboratively with Labor Relations on bargaining unit issues and contract negotiations at the local level.

Research, develop, and recommend internal policies and procedures for identifying, eliminating or mitigating risk management issues within the practice(s). Promotes a workplace culture with a focus on meeting or exceeding patient service standards. Develops an environment that encourages creativity, efficiency, engagement, quality of care, safety, and innovations in operations.

Implements processes and metrics to assure viability of existing programs and practice patient and staffing patterns, and optimize productivity, recommends operational performance improvements that impact marketability and service.

Assures internal policies and external regulations are followed in regards to billing and coding practices and cashhandling. Other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration or related area; and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
  • A minimum of seven (7+) or more years of relevant experience to include but not limited to; Clinic Management, Finance, Human Resources, Strategic Planning, Forecasting and Program Growth.
  • Previous experience with Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine required.
  • Experience and proven success in clinic/center management experience, with progressive expertise in practice management, scheduling, customerservice methods, incident reporting, regulatory compliance, accreditation requirements, and information technology.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Lean and Six-Sigma Certification
  • Master's Degree in healthcare administration, public health, or business.
  • Experience managing a Pulmonary and Sleep Center.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:


  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
  • Will be required to travel to all Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine locations.

Annual Full Pay Range:
$101,200 - $192,200 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)


Hourly Equivalent:
$ $92.05


Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.

The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
