STATUS:
Non-exempt, full-time, 40 hours per week
DEPT/LOCATION:
Banking Services - Oxnard, CA
Essential Functions:
With or without reasonable accommodation must be able to perform all essential job functions as described below:
- Research and facilitate the resolution of escalated customer service or transaction issues within limits of authority.
- Schedule and manage the completion of required branch operational activities, including cash dispensers/recyclers, cash drawer limits, audits, certifications, transaction reporting, troubleshooting, etc. Monitor the vault status, including "sell/buy" transactions that service the teller cash drawers. Coordinate the ordering and shipment of cash.
- Provide supervision of banking center operations in the absence of the manager, or at the direction of the management team.
- Schedule, organize and conduct branch staff meetings. Reinforce customer service, compliance, product knowledge, current promotions, sales and quality expectations.
- Assist with the scheduling, monitoring, coaching and training of branch staff. Coordinate and conduct transaction, products and services, and sales training events.
- Oversee regulatory and compliance requirements related to BSA and CIP.
- Conduct audit/inspection of new/superseded accounts initiated by other team members.
Minimum Qualifications to Perform Essential Functions
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of all deposit account opening and maintenance functions, including applicable policies and procedures, such as BSA and CIP.
- Knowledge of consumer/small business loan features and processes.
- Knowledge of branch operations functions, processes and procedures.
- Ability to read, understand and communicate moderately complex information and instructions.
- Exceptional client service skills.
- Strong organizational and task management skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and efficiently to changing priorities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective research and analysis skills.
- Good judgment, decisionmaking and problemsolving skills.
- Computer proficiency, including internet browsers and Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Ability to achieve and maintain required licenses, registrations or certifications.
- Proficiency at speaking, reading and writing English.
- Ability to independently manage/perform all job functions and responsibilities.
Experience and/or Education:
- Three years of progressively responsible branch operations experience, including one year in a lead operations role.
- Three years of experience supervising branch operations staff and functions, preferred.
- Demonstration of strong sales and business development skills, preferred.
