Press Spokesperson and Deputy Head of Department (m/f/d)

unlimited starting at the earliest possible date.

The responsibilities of this position will include the following aspects:

Acting as the press spokesperson and contact person for media representatives (m/f/d) to connect them with experts at TH OWL
Deputy management of the Department of Communication and Marketing
Conceptualization, editing, and coordination of internal and external communication, as well as contributing to marketing measures
Coordination of press and public relations for the university and maintaining contact with the media
Close and responsible collaboration with the university's presidency, faculties, institutes, and central facilities in terms of reporting and external representation for the university, as well as maintaining contact with the media
Conceptualization, editing, and preparation of topics for science communication
Conceptualization, editing, maintenance, and development of the TH OWL website and intranet
Conceptualization, editing, and creation of publications, including the university magazine, newsletter, and annual report
