Position Summary


The Analyst, Capital Markets is responsible for supporting the Capital Markets team with all aspects of capital raising and client service.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

CAPITAL RAISING

  • Assist with completion of prospective investor requests (RFIs, RFPs, DDQs) across the firm's equity and debt fund offerings
  • Assist with addressing adhoc due diligence requests within the provided deadlines
  • Assist with the maintenance of Berkshire's RFP software to support the Capital Market team's capital raising efforts
  • Assist with preparation and updating of marketing material (marketing presentations, fund summaries, quarterly portfolio overview decks)
  • Assist with industry research, monitor websites for notable client, prospect, competitor, and real estate market activity
  • Analyze financial models and strategies for new investment product initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal business groups, as required, on the completion of all assigned tasks
  • Assist with tracking prospect pipelines, existing investor information, etc in Berkshire's Customer Relationship Management ("CRM") software

CLIENT SERVICE

  • Promote and elevate Berkshire's brand by delivering highquality support to prospective investors in the form of expedited delivery of due diligence responses in a consistent voice and timely production of marketing material in accordance with company brand guidelines
  • Assist with meeting material for the Berkshire Annual Client Conference and other regular fund meetings

INTERNAL SUPPORT

  • Assist with tracking corporate facts and figures and current investors
  • Help drive technological advancement and adoption

Knowledge/Experience:


  • 12 years of real estate and/or private equity experience
  • Knowledge of real estate investment concepts and metrics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Smart, energetic, and a team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Work effectively with Berkshire employees and other professionals
  • Demonstrate selfconfidence with senior management
  • Demonstrate mature conduct in high pressure and sensitive situations

Technical/Educational Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Skilled in the use of computers and able to adapt to new technology
  • Experience with a CRM system and/or online investor reporting system a plus
