The Allgäuer Zeitung media group is currently training in 20 different professions: from media designers to printers, from newspaper, online, radio and television editors to industrial electricians.
Our approximately 60 apprentices, trainees and DHBW students learn hands-on professional work in a modern and future-proof media company.

Training profession

Industrial electrician (m/f/d)

Training duration:

3.5 years

Requirements:

  • Good, qualifying degree, middle school diploma or business school diploma
  • Technical interest, spatial imagination
  • Good grades in mathematics, physics and English

Training content:

  • Taking over, modifying and expanding systems
  • Assembling and installing cable management systems, information lines and power lines
  • Installing and setting up machines and work systems including pneumatic components
  • Assembling and wiring switching devices
  • Programming and configuring systems as well as testing their function and safety
  • Monitoring and maintaining systems, analyzing malfunctions and repairing systems
