What we are looking for:

You are a trained biologist, BTA, PTA, MTA or have a Bachelor's degree in a natural science field (biology, pharmacy, food technology or biochemistry). You have gained professional experience or are a motivated entry-level professional. Ideally, you already have knowledge in identifying microorganisms using VITEK/Maldi-ToF. Conducting analyses in compliance with GMP standards and documenting them is not foreign to you. You have knowledge in microbiological quality control of pharmaceuticals according to relevant regulations (pharmacopoeias, USP, EP). You are willing to travel occasionally for external customer visits.

Why we need you:

Identification of bacteria, yeasts and molds using cultural and microscopic methods
Processing of internal and external orders for microbial identification, e.g. from bioburden and sterility testing
Preparation and evaluation of subcultures and microscopic preparations
Evaluation of occupational hygiene samples such as swabs and air microbial counts
Sampling in clean rooms, both internally and at customer sites
Input and verification of laboratory results in the laboratory information management system WinLIMS
Documentation of work in accordance with internal quality management guidelines
