another employee (m/f/d) (pay group E 8 TV-L) is available at the Central Refugee Accommodation Facility (ZUE) of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia in the Cologne administrative district,
at the location Düren,
in department 20 - Accommodation of Refugees.

It is a central authority that represents all departments of the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia in its district. With around 2000 employees, the district government of Cologne is one of the largest authorities in the state.

To fulfill the diverse and responsible tasks of a state intermediate authority, we are looking for support.

Responsibilities:

Your tasks in department 20 involve supporting the refugee accommodation.

Here, you will be involved in:

Location support, including monitoring compliance with contractual standards
Cooperation with support organizations, social welfare offices, immigration authorities, health authorities, and police
Maintaining statistics and preparing reports
Organizing and reviewing asylum procedures as part of the registration process
Supporting the provision of benefits according to the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act (AsylblG) (e.g. issuing taxi and medical treatment vouchers, pocket money) and participating in measures according to the Asylum Act, Infection Protection Act, and Residence Act
