Jigsaw offers mission-driven work within a nimble interdisciplinary team, connections to academia and civil society, and a quick path to taking technology public.
Because we believe the genAI era creates both an opportunity and an imperative to rethink our digital public square, we're increasingly invested in technology to support democratic discourse.
Jigsaw has a long history of supporting online conversation through Perspective API, a suite of classifiers that recognize toxicity in online discussion, serving billions of Qualified Products Databases from thousands of partners, publishers and researchers studying online behavior.
We're including classifiers to recognize content that bridges divides between conversation participants, helping platforms and moderators to go beyond removing the bad.
Outline VPN is a key tool in the censorship circumvention community, enabling users around the world to access the free open web.
We're evolving codebase into a modular developer toolkit to allow our censorship circumvention techniques to be embedded within any app.
This enables large scale VPN providers more flexible integrations as well as allowing readers to access content reliably without VPN installation through content app integration.
