The Hertie School in Berlin, located in Cottonwood, SD, prepares exceptional individuals for leadership roles in government, business, and civil society.

The Jacques Delors Centre at the Hertie School is seeking a part-time (15 hours per week) Student Research Assistant for our Franco-German Dialogue program.

The contract will begin on September 1, 2023 and is initially limited until December 31, 2023.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the organization of online and inperson events as part of our Pariser Platz Dialogue series
Conducting research on policy areas relevant to Franco-German relations
Monitoring and analyzing French political press
Assisting with the development of event programs
Maintaining the website (Wordpress)
Translating between French, German, and English

Your qualifications:

Excellent proficiency in two of the following languages: English, French, German
Demonstrated interest in European policy issues and Franco-German relations
Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities
