As a mechatronics engineer, you are a technical generalist. You deal with questions such as how people can be mobile in the future without burdening the environment more than necessary. During your studies, you will learn elements from the fields of computer science, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. With this interdisciplinary structure, you will become a true all-rounder and have excellent career opportunities after your apprenticeship.

Requirements and Duration of Training

For the study with practical experience, you need a general university entrance qualification, technical college entrance qualification, or equivalent university admissions. You should also have good knowledge of mathematics and physics.

The standard study period is 3.5 years.

The apprenticeship alternates between theory phases at the Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences and practical phases in various areas of ZF during the lecture-free period. This close connection offers you excellent opportunities for advancement.
