For our HEADQUARTERS in EMMENDINGEN, we are looking for a motivated full-time employee (m/f/d) as a CENTRAL PURCHASER.


Your main tasks:

  • Departmental coverage for vacation and sick leave in the purchasing departments for beef/veal, pork, or poultry
  • Liaison between suppliers and business locations
  • Price and condition negotiations with suppliers
  • Market and competition analysis
  • Development of sales promotion measures
  • Other support tasks in the department

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed commercial training OR several years of experience as a commercial employee or purchaser
  • Several years of experience in the meat industry preferred
  • Product knowledge in the abovementioned areas desired
  • Quick comprehension
  • Willingness to consider candidates from other industries with purchasing experience
  • Good negotiation skills and assertiveness
  • Organizational and teamwork skills
  • Responsible and communicative
