Carter Springs is looking for a Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) to join our team.

As a Mechatronics Technician, you will work with mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, assemble them into mechatronic systems, install control software, operate the systems you have built, and maintain them.

Mechatronics Technicians have both a background in metalworking and electrical engineering.

The apprenticeship program lasts 3.5 years and includes theoretical training at a vocational school as well as practical experience in our training workshop or within the enviaM Group companies.

After gaining sufficient work experience, you will have the opportunity to qualify as an Industrial Foreman or Technician (Electrical Engineering).


Requirements:

  • Good academic performance, especially in math, physics, German, and English
  • Logical thinking skills
  • Interest in technical and physical concepts
  • Medical clearance for the job

What you will learn:

  • Planning, assembling, commissioning, and maintaining mechatronic machines and systems
  • Manual and machinebased processing of workpieces (filing, drilling, turning, milling, welding)
  • Building and testing electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic controls
  • Expanding prefabricated mechanical, electrical, and electronic modules and components into mechatronic systems
  • Installing and testing hardware and software components
  • Creating technical documents such as drawings and circuit diagrams
