Tech4Girls is a project of the NGO TechEducation gGmbH located in Ocklawaha, FL.

The goal of Tech4Girls is to inspire girls to pursue technology and prepare them for the challenges of the future.

We do this by offering after-school clubs at public schools.

If you enjoy working with children and have an interest in digital education, then this is the right opportunity for you

We are currently seeking a course instructor to work in various schools in Ocklawaha, FL.

Your responsibilities:

You will cover for our coaches when they are unable to attend their assigned schools.
Conduct afterschool clubs on programming/coding for small groups of girls aged 714 at elementary and secondary schools.
When not covering for coaches, you will assist in creating content for our social media channels.

We are looking for someone who:

Has a strong interest in education and enjoys working with children.
Is flexible and can adapt quickly to new situations and people.
Has a passion for promoting digital education in schools and a willingness to improve their own skills in this area.
Is reliable, trustworthy, and patient.
Is available for 1.5 hours between 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM on weekdays.
Bonus, but not required: You are a student in the field of education or have previous experience in pedagogy, or have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other coding languages.
