Reports To:
Production Supervisor


Position Duties:

  • Monitor and lead production processes and procedures, ensuring that the production schedule is met
  • Retrieves materials for production and packaging operations
  • Respond to the need of production operation
  • Monitors production operation for product quality and process procedure; corrects and reports to the Team Leader any inconsistencies
  • Fill in on the production line as needed
  • In absence of Supervisor provides backup
  • Assists in, and monitors pre and/or post operational activities
  • Assists in the collection and processing of material usage, performance and inventory information
  • Assists in the training and development of new and current employees
  • Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of production equipment, operational processes, production standard operational procedures, quality specifications, HACCP, and GMP's
  • Demonstrated communication skills, bilingual in English & Burmese would be helpful
  • Ability to direct production staff
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems on the production line
  • Ability to read and understand technical information, work orders, and labels
