The German Railway is not only one of the most important mobility service providers, but also one of the largest engineering offices in Germany. Currently, more than engineers work for us to realize and sustainably maintain new bridges, tunnels, train stations, tracks, and signal systems - but that's not nearly enough. As an engineer at the German Railway, you can plan, manage, or supervise something that will remain: the infrastructure for future generations.

We are currently looking for you as a civil engineer as a technical project manager for the City S-Bahn Berlin (S21) project (m/f/d) for the 1st construction phase for DB Netz AG at our location in Berlin.

Your tasks:

In your new role as project manager, you will be responsible for the quality, budget, and timely implementation of the project and will lead your assigned employees in the planning and execution phases

This means ensuring that all project-related approvals from third parties and regulatory requirements are in place within the framework of the planning approval procedure and in preparation for upcoming construction activities

Stakeholder management is also part of your responsibilities - you take care of all aspects of the sub-project (costs, deadlines, opportunities, risks) as well as internal and external communication

You are also responsible for economically, timely, and quality-oriented procurement and coordination of planning and execution services
