As part of the "Data Management & Platforms" team, we are responsible for the SQL Server and all development tools and programs related to data management and SQL. This makes us an integral part of all DATEV's on-premise applications. Maintaining and continuously improving our SQL Manager and the associated services and tools is crucial in providing our customers with high-quality and stable on-premise software.

These are the tasks:

  • Administration, maintenance, and further development of SQL tools and corresponding scripts (SQL and tSQL)
  • Analysis and monitoring of performance issues in databases
  • Maintenance and further development of software components related to the SQL Manager (C++/C#)
  • Active knowledge transfer within the team through experience sharing and joint analysis and solution concepts
  • Creation and maintenance of software documentation to ensure the availability of know-how for future development and maintenance tasks
