Your Responsibilities

  • Handling of technological and plant-related tasks within specific surface, joining, and assembly technologies
  • Continual development and optimization of processes and process technology
  • Consistent utilization of cost reduction potential
  • Support in the introduction of new products and in change projects through planning of production concepts, work processes, materials, equipment, and resources
  • Monitoring of production of prototypes, sample and test parts, as well as the start of series production for new parts
  • Creation of necessary production documents and work instructions
  • Participation/leadership in projects, including procurement of new equipment and optimization of existing processes, both at the main plant and at subsidiary companies
  • Conducting process calculations and make-or-buy analyses
  • Creation of delivery specifications
  • Conducting training and further education measures

Your Profile

  • Completed technical studies, e.g. in materials engineering, chemistry, process engineering, mechanical engineering with a focus on materials technology, production technology, or a comparable degree
  • Professional experience in surface coating processes, adhesive technology, process development and optimization advantageous
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • Proficient in using MS
