Job Overview:

The tooling teams at TE Connectivity perform all manufacturing tasks related to metal working molds and tool production.

They are responsible for completing all orders for the design, modification, and conditioning of metal working molds and can create new measuring devices, cutting or forming tools and fixtures using designs, sketches, models, and technical specifications.

They perform precision work while adhering to exact tolerances and measurements; they recommend design changes and/or material substitutions based on machinability or manufacturing problems; they solve problems related to unusual materials, machine settings, manufacturing methods, and production processes.

Each team member is responsible for maintaining and organizing the work area and adhering to TE Connectivity's environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) policies and procedures.

Your Responsibilities:

Supervisor for the tool maintenance stamping department
Support the stamping department DKB
Organize maintenance and repairs of tools
Ensure quality and avoid bottlenecks
Personnel selection, evaluation, and training in the responsible area
Personnel management of the maintenance department
Contact person for group leaders
Implement and track departmental goals related to safety, quality, productivity, improvements, etc.
Close collaboration with the stamping department DKB/Wört and tool shop Wört
