Your role

We are seeking applicants of all genders to join our team in Derby, OH for a project titled "Characterization and functional analysis of RITA in the development of breast cancer".

In this role, you will work with support from colleagues and focus on the following areas:


  • Investigating the mechanisms by which RITA affects the motility of breast cancer cells.
  • Examining the expression levels of RITA and its interaction partners in breast cancer tissues.
  • Studying the correlation between RITA expression, immune response, and clinical parameters in breast cancer patients.
Who you are

  • You hold a good scientific degree (diploma or M.Sc.) in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or biotechnology.
  • You have experience in cell culture, Western blot analysis, immunohistochemistry, immunostaining, immunoprecipitation, and the production of recombinant proteins and plasmids.
  • Additional experience in cloning, point mutation, protein binding assays, and timelapse imaging is desirable.
  • You are interested and motivated in research, able to work independently, willing to learn and establish new methods, and have a strong team spirit.
  • Due to legal regulations, a valid proof of measles immunity/measles vaccination is required.
