Position Objective:

In this role, you will play a key role in the pre-development activities of our electric drives.

As part of the "Pre-Development Electric Drives" team, you will contribute your expertise to actively shape future drive technologies at STIHL.

You will work closely with various interfaces.

The diverse range of tasks allows you to initiate and lead independent innovation and technology projects and take on technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibility for functional development and component design for the electric drive train in batterypowered products
Clarification of requirements, derivation of functional requirements, and translation into functional specifications
Design and application of new functions, as well as prototypical implementation in the product with acceptance evaluation in the application
Management of predevelopment projects, as well as independent project communication and evaluation of maturity levels in the project process in terms of deadlines, quality, and costs
Close collaboration with series colleagues and specialists for subsystems and components

Qualifications:

Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, cybernetics, or a comparable field of study
Indepth knowledge of developing and applying new functions
Experience with electric drives in batterypowered products
Comprehensive understanding of systems and complex functions
Structured, analytical, goaloriented, and interdisciplinary approach to work
Persuasiveness and confident communication with internal and external stakeholders.
