The city of Seelze, with almost 37,000 inhabitants and in close proximity to the state capital Hanover, with good infrastructure and all types of schools on site, is looking for a
Equal Opportunities Officer to start as soon as possible.

This is a permanent part-time position with a regular average weekly working time of 19.5 hours.

Who are we looking for and what tasks can you expect?
As the Equal Opportunities Officer, your task is to promote and support the equality of women and men. The legal framework for this activity is provided by the Federal Equal Opportunities Act. The aim of this law is to achieve equality between women and men.

The Equal Opportunities Officer is involved in personnel and organizational matters within our administration at an early stage and, together with the responsible departments, develops concepts and projects to improve the compatibility of family, care and work, as well as women's promotion as part of personnel development.

You are the contact person for issues of "discrimination" and "sexual harassment".

For the people of Seelze, you are active in information and public relations work on topics such as equal opportunities, domestic violence and sexual harassment.

You take on the task of providing information and advice for women and men in relation to equal opportunities, providing information and referring them to counseling centers.

Through networking and cooperation with public institutions, non-profit organizations and associations, you develop and accompany measures, programs and projects on important women-related topics.
