    The Office of Smith Programs & Events seeks a student event assistant who would work on various projects and administrative tasks assigned by office personnel, reporting to the Coordinator


    Responsibilities will include:
    - composing, drafting, proofing, and editing written materials; - answering calls and responding to email inquiries; - database entries and updating; - program and event attendee registration; - conducting research on best practices; - gathering data for programs and events; - preparing event materials including agendas, name badges, signage, etc.; - setting up for events, monitoring catering and other vendors, monitoring event breakdown; - organizing meetings; - assisting with other duties as assigned.
