Description
Join our team at Lockwood and support us in the following tasks:

  • Assisting in the shift management at our warehouse (3-shift operation)
  • Managing a team of 3-8 employees
  • Assigning incoming trucks to loading docks (dock control)
  • Communicating with loading personnel, dispatch, and handling as well as customer service
  • Conducting regular warehouse checks with the service team
  • Ensuring proper loading procedures
  • Securing cargo
  • Handling all loading documents (proper issuance)
  • Recording damages in case of incidents (following reporting chain, filling out damage reports)
  • Supervising employees during shifts
  • Managing the loading of additional deliveries (prioritizing based on loading documents)

Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of German, additional language skills such as Russian or Lithuanian are a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Forklift license preferred, occasional operational assistance may be required
