The
Aquatic Instructor is responsible for taking any reasonable action necessary to plan and lead group aquatic exercise classes delegated to him/her, under the direction of the Manager.


$22-$25/hr based on experience

  • The Instructor is responsible for setting up the pool for class (with the assistance of the lifeguard) and for cleaning up afterward.
  • The Instructor must remain current in appropriate fitness certifications.
  • The Instructor promotes and plans classes and revises classes as needed to remain fresh, interesting, fun and relevant being open to incorporating changes and revisions as suggested by residents and management.
  • The Instructor maintains class equipment in proper working order, promotes classes to the appropriate resident population and staff through individual and mass communication, works within individual limitations to enhance each attendee's benefit and enjoyment, maintains all necessary paperwork, logs and documentation, communicates safety guidelines and modifications as needed to participants, and remains current in all appropriate and necessary fitness certifications.
