Medical Assistant

Location:
Rancho Mirage, CA


Hours Per Week:40.00


Monday - Friday May float to all clinics

Duties:


  • Coordinates patient care, including escorting patients to exam rooms, performing vital signs, preparing patients for exams and discharge, facilitating physician orders, and other related duties.
  • Demonstrates compliance with the Code of Conduct and compliance policies, addressing compliance questions or concerns, and reporting suspected violations.
  • Prepares patient charts accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Gathers necessary reports to complete patient charts.
  • Places orders for films, labs, and other studies promptly and accurately.
  • Prints daily office schedules.
  • Responds to patient questions and requests promptly and appropriately.
  • Files reports and notes in patient charts.

Licensure/Certification:


  • Required: Medical Assistant Course Completion if hired after November 3, 2019, American Heart Association BLS.
  • Preferred: Medical Assistant Certificate.

Experience:


  • Preferred: Previous office practice experience.
