Information about the department
The "CAE" department is the central department for FEM calculation with 17 CAE engineers. The main tasks include stiffness and strength calculations, crash simulations, vibration calculations, and thermal stress analysis. The topics cover interior, electrical, electronic, and battery systems for electric vehicles.


Your specific tasks will include

  • Measurement of test specimens
  • Conducting dynamic tests using a pendulum testing machine
  • Analysis of test results
  • Creation of FEM material cards using optimization software
  • Report writing and maintenance of the material database

We expect the following from you

  • Technical degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, lightweight construction and simulation, mechatronics)
  • Good knowledge of technical mechanics
  • Ideally, some experience with LS-Dyna, Abaqus, and LS-Opt
  • Proficiency in common MS Office programs
  • Very good German and English skills
