About the Position:
The Doctor of Nursing Practice Administrative Support Coordinator II plays a multifaceted role in managing the operational aspects of the program.
This involves leading and coordinating various activities and events such as orientations, meetings, and recruitment efforts from planning to evaluation, ensuring operational efficiency.
They independently handle administrative tasks, including evaluating operational matters, maintaining supplies, and troubleshooting office administration problems. Moreover, they provide administrative support to program coordinators and faculty, maintain meeting records, and interpret university policies and procedures. The coordinator also oversees graduation processes, initiates, and maintains accreditation processes, and coordinates information sessions and recruitment events.They serve as the primary point of contact for Doctor of Nursing Practice students, providing guidance, addressing inquiries, and delegating tasks as needed.
Additionally, they maintain databases, generate reports, and collaborate with other university departments to facilitate seamless operations.The coordinator also undertakes responsibilities related to admissions processes, defense scheduling, and program evaluation, demonstrating a high level of independence in addressing challenges and recommending solutions.
Furthermore, they implement strategies to enhance the overall student and alumni experience, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and adapt to evolving duties as assigned.
Essential QualificationsPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with extensive administrative work experience involving study analysis and/or evaluation leading to the development and improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices or programs, preferably in areas related to nursing.
License/Certifications
A Valid California Driver's License.
Special Working Conditions
Position requires attendance at events, visiting schools and graduate/ Doctor of Nursing Practice information fairs at variable hours.
