Overview:

Responsibilities:


  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
  • Verify insurance information and collect copayments
  • Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines
  • Assist with medical scheduling and coordinate patient flow
  • Utilize Eaglesoft or similar software for administrative tasks

Skills:


  • Proficient in medical office procedures and terminology
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy protection
  • Experience in front desk operations or as a dental receptionist
  • Familiarity with phone systems and appointment scheduling software
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
