Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and collect copayments
- Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordinate patient flow
- Utilize Eaglesoft or similar software for administrative tasks
Skills:
- Proficient in medical office procedures and terminology
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy protection
- Experience in front desk operations or as a dental receptionist
- Familiarity with phone systems and appointment scheduling software
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
