WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR PRACTICAL TRAINING

Are you interested in maintaining Mannheim's extensive vehicle fleet? From the beginning of your apprenticeship, you will be fully involved in the automotive workshops of the municipal enterprise Stadtraumservice, including the Mannheim Fire Department. There, you will work on exemplary tasks such as checking and adjusting vehicle systems and performing maintenance and repair work. But that's not all - you will also work directly on automotive mechatronics and electronics, learning how to diagnose and fix issues on different types of vehicles.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR THEORETICAL TRAINING

With the right knowledge on the home stretch - The theoretical training takes place in block lessons at the Carl-Benz-Schule in Mannheim. You will gain valuable knowledge in areas such as automotive electronics, maintenance technology, automotive engineering, social and business studies, and diagnostic technology.

AND AFTER GRADUATION?

Once you have successfully completed your 3.5-year apprenticeship, you will be well-equipped to start your career as an automotive mechatronics technician in repair workshops. You also have the option to work in the production and manufacturing of motor vehicles. Or you can stay with us and have access to one of the largest and most diverse vehicle fleets in the region.
