Course and Room Attendant (m/f/d)

The Volkshochschule Oelde-Ennigerloh is the municipal center for continuing education for the towns of Oelde and Ennigerloh.

The VHS is run by the city of Oelde and offers public education for approximately 50,000 residents, with a total of 18,000 teaching hours per year.

The attractive and diverse course offerings in 6 program areas are organized and managed by a team of eight employees in collaboration with 220 part-time instructors.

Your responsibilities

Course management

  • Opening and closing of rooms
  • Preparation and cleaning of classrooms
  • Distribution of materials and course documents
  • Cash handling for evening events
  • Assistance with the preparation and execution of events
  • Contact person for participants and instructors
Room maintenance

  • Performing all necessary cleaning tasks (including classrooms, offices, restrooms, kitchenette, hallways, stairs)
  • Cleaning and maintenance of the coffee machine
Changes or adjustments to the tasks may be made as needed.

Your profile

  • Experience in cleaning and facility maintenance
  • Physical fitness
  • Responsibility, reliability, and commitment
  • Flexibility to work in the evenings and occasionally on weekends
  • Friendly, flexible, and communicative with participants
  • Proficient in German communication skills
