In the last 20 years, new lasers for sensor technology have opened up extensive new fields of application and markets.

These lasers have primarily been used for industrial applications, including environmental technology, chemical or metallurgical processes, medical technology, and aerospace.

The nanoplus Group in Gerbrunn/Würzburg has played a significant role in this development and founded Sensalight Technologies Group in Würzburg as a sister company with a focus on mass markets.

The nanoplus Group and Sensalight Technologies Group are dynamic, growing family businesses with approximately 150 employees at research and production sites in Gerbrunn, Würzburg, and Meiningen.

We develop and manufacture sensor lasers and laser measuring devices for applications in environmental protection, such as CO2 avoidance and monitoring to achieve climate goals, for laser detection of diseases, and in the fields of mobility and space travel.
