Training as a Machinist (m/f/d) at Mescalero

Your tasks

As a machinist (m/f/d), you will work with machining processes such as turning, milling, or grinding to produce workpiece parts. Specifically, you will manufacture individual metal components for various steel and metal products. This is usually done using computer-controlled machine tools, known as CNC machine tools. You will assemble individual components into assemblies and configure/maintain machine tools.

In order to produce a precision workpiece as desired, the machine tool must be programmed precisely beforehand. Then, the metal piece to be machined is expertly clamped, the machine is started, and the production process is monitored. If there are any problems despite all precautions, you will identify the cause and fix the issue.
