Community Programs Coordinator


The Community Programs Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Community Programs staff, coordinate and administer program activities which assist the overall programs administration.

Responsible for the overall daily operations of the Community Programs Department.

This is a full-time, non-exempt (35 hour/week) position. We offer a hybrid remote schedule. Our office is located in Malden, MA with ample free parking

Starting annual salary is $50,000 ($27.47/hour).

Top 5 Key Activities:


  • Work in conjunction with the Director and Managers of all Community Programs to assure all reports and records are completed per state, grant and MVES policies and regulations
  • Maintain and update all data entry of required data in systems required by state and grants
  • Answer/follow up/report out on all communications from consumers, volunteers, and staff
  • Refers consumers to MVES departments as appropriate
  • Assist in administrative duties as assigned by Director and Managers

Other Activities:


  • Cross collaboration with all departments for best practices
  • Coordinate distribution and tabulation of EOEA mandated consumer satisfaction surveys
  • Participate in collaborative team model

Qualifications:


  • High scool diploma with a minimum 23 years of administrative experience
  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented and able to meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels, including staff, family and external partners
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive information or in sensitive situations
  • Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to work effectively independently or as a team
  • Demonstrates a willingness to take on new tasks with a general attitude that no task is too small, impossible, or cannot be improved

Physical Requirements of the Job:


  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to climb up and down stairs unassisted
  • Ability to travel to the community to perform visits at clients' homes
  • Work requires regular standing, stooping, and bending
