YOUR TRAINING
  • You will undergo a future-oriented training with a close integration of theory and practice
  • You will learn together with 60 other trainees at the in-house school for medical technologies in radiology
  • You will have practical assignments in various departments of the university hospital throughout your entire training
  • You will work with highly technical diagnostic and therapy equipment while also caring for sick patients
  • You will be individually guided and advised by qualified teachers
  • You will benefit from the new collective agreement for relief (TV-E)

YOUR TRAINING CONTENTS
  • The core areas on the curriculum during your training include: radiological diagnostics and other imaging techniques, radiation therapy, and nuclear medicine. Other focuses include radiation protection, dosimetry, and radiation physics
  • In your practical training, you will go through all departments and learn about different diseases and their diagnostics
  • In addition, you will complete a four-week interprofessional internship in healthcare
YOUR PROFILE
  • You are at least 17 years old and have a secondary school leaving certificate or equivalent
  • Your grades in the natural sciences are good
  • You have a good technical understanding
