Seeking a motivated Shipping and receiving clerk to join our team.

In this role, you will verify the order to match the received materials and prepare the items for proper shipment.

Monday to Friday 8am6:30 pm
Alternating Saturdays 8am1pm
Accurately select flooring product orders, palletize, and shrinkwrap each order, ensuring secure handling of the heavy material.
Read shipping orders to determine quantity and type of transportation needed.
Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents, gather, and maintain all data related to shipping activities.
Collect all documentation for outboard freight and route to the proper recordkeeping unit.
Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped.
Schedule inbound and outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations.
Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and issue instructions for loading products.
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work environment.
Keep an equipment checklist and perform preventative maintenance of equipment.
Perform additional duties as required or requested.
Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
Previous Shipping and receiving experience is preferred
Ability to up to 50 pounds consistently
1 year of Forklift experience
Positive attitude and team player

Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour
