Description

The DB Energie GmbH is the energy manager of Deutsche Bahn for the railway in Germany.

This means we are responsible for the operation of the 16.7 Hz railway power grid, 50 Hz systems, 110 kV railway power lines, the direct current supply for the Hamburg and Berlin S-Bahn, as well as for renewable energies, such as the charging infrastructure for battery trains.

We also stand for sustainable supply of railway power and offer comprehensive energy efficiency measures for railway companies.

We are currently looking for a (Junior) Electrical Engineer for qualification as an Electrical Engineering Construction Supervisor (m/f/d) for DB Energie GmbH at our locations in Munich or Nuremberg.

Your tasks will include a 24-month, multi-stage onboarding and qualification program to become an Electrical Engineering Construction Supervisor, under the guidance of a mentor within the team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Monitoring construction companies and participants for quality, adherence to deadlines, and budget at the site of service delivery
Using your technical expertise to assist in the creation of performance specifications, acting as a competent partner to the project management team
Taking responsibility for controlling and documenting the construction process, as well as verifying the quantity determination for the services provided, including any additional work
Coordinating the proper and contractcompliant disposal of demolition materials according to the waste disposal concept, in order to preserve the resources of our world and the environment
Keeping an eye on the safety and operation of the systems
