About the Position
The 2ndshift Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining all plant and warehouse equipment to ensure 100% uptime.

Prior maintenance experience in the food industry.
Mechanical troubleshooting: Motors, Gearboxes, Conveyors
Electrical troubleshooting: Basic PLC troubleshooting, Ac/Dc circuits. 3 phase power, VFD & motor controls, Ability to read electrical schematics.
Pneumatic troubleshooting: Cylinders, Valves, Compressors.
Skilled in Tig welding, fabrication, and other shop equipment.
High School Diploma/GED and 2 years multicraft experience required.

Responsibilities Include:

Follow all company Safety procedures and Quality GMP's
Selfmotivated and able to work both independently and as a team.
Maximize equipment uptime and minimize down time through preventive and corrective maintenance repair.
Working with production team to change over machine and adjust for maximum efficiency while minimizing waste.
Assistance in overseeing outside contractors during equipment installations or building construction.
Participate in root cause analysis, safety design and quality improvement process.
Work second shift, off shift and weekends as needed.
Ability to routinely perform strenuous physical labor.
Ability to work at heights.
Ability to work in a cold environment.
25 years of experience in Maintenance in a production environment. (Food MFG preferred)
High school diploma or a GED certificate required.
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Must have excellent attention to detail
