Associa Chicagoland is looking for a qualified Licensed on-site Community Association Manager in the Kinzie Park neighborhood to join our team.

As an on-site CAM, you will work closely with our clients and vendors and partner with other Associa departments.

To be successful in this role, you will need great customer service skills and the ability to work on multiple projects.

Responsibilities:


  • Prepare requests for proposals.
  • Perform monthly or bimonthly property inspections for reporting requirements.
  • Produce a monthly action list.
  • Process invoices.
  • Perform quality control of vendor's performance.
  • Work closely with the Board of Directors and committee members.
  • Understanding of association governing documents
  • Managing people
  • Preparation and presentation of budgets
  • Routine architectural knowledge and inspections are a plus.
  • Coordinate and attend board meetings as contractually required.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Service bids and contractor supervision.
  • Produce Management reports and prepare agendas for Board Meetings
  • Must be available for afterhours emergency maintenance calls on the property.

Requirements:


  • Must be licensed as a Community Manager through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
  • Prefer CMCA, AMS, or PCAM designations.
  • 3 years of experience as a Community Manager preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook).
  • Consultation and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Possess excellent communication skills combined with a thoroughly professional presentation.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • A team player with good business skills.
  • Someone selfmotivated.
  • Possess the ability to read and understand a financial report.
  • Facilities and project management experience a plus.
