    Job DescriptionThe Organization

    SeekOps Inc. develops and deploys advanced sensor technology for the energy sector to detect, localize, and quantify methane emissions through integrated drone-based systems.     The Position

    The financial planning and analysis (FP&A) analyst reports to the Controller and will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis functions of the company. The FP&A Analyst will be primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the financial model. This role will create efficiencies for how we analyze data for month- end close.

    Job Responsibilities
    • Collaborate with various departments to develop annual operating budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans. Analyze historical data and market trends to support accurate forecasting and decision-making.
    • Conduct variance analysis to assess performance against budgets and forecasts. Identify key drivers of financial performance and provide insights to management. Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and reports as needed.
    • Prepare and distribute regular management reports, dashboards, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making. Collaborate with the controller and CFO to develop financial models for strategic initiatives and investment opportunities.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve financial planning and analysis processes. Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains to streamline workflows and enhance accuracy.
    Skills & Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or related roles
    • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and variance analysis
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with great attention to detail
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
    • This is a hybrid role with 1-2 days expected in our Austin, TX offices.
