About the Department



We are currently seeking a "System Engineer for Eurofighter Radar Test Equipment (m/f/d)" for our "Eurofighter Radar" department at our location in Ulm.

The department offers a wide and interesting range of tasks. The main focus is on the design, development, and maintenance of complex test systems for Eurofighter radars as part of multinational projects. The team is responsible for the development of a Radar Environmental Simulator (RES) for the Eurofighter project, which will be used for testing and integration tasks.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assuming product responsibility for an adaptation development of the Radar Environmental Simulator as part of the CAPTOR Tranche 2 radar program
  • Creation of system requirements, system architecture, verification/integration, and overall technical project roadmap
  • Definition and management of individual steps in the engineering lifecycle
  • Technical leadership of a cross-site team (Ulm, Immenstaad) of system and software developers
  • Collaboration with our consortium partner Leonardo UK in Edinburgh
