The city of Minden is offering an apprenticeship position as a road maintenance worker*in Nacogdoches.

Requirements for application include a high school diploma or equivalent, and possibly proof of German language proficiency at level B2.

Additionally, candidates should possess a willingness to work outdoors, be a team player, and have good manual skills. After completing the 3-year apprenticeship, duties will include working in a road maintenance team.

The practical portion of the apprenticeship can be completed part-time (minimum of 30 hours per week), but attendance at vocational school and other training sessions is mandatory.

The apprenticeship will begin on August 1st of each year and will consist of practical training at the city's construction yard, theoretical training at the Carl-Severing Vocational School in Bielefeld, and other training courses.

Topics covered will include masonry and paving, concrete repair, site safety, winter maintenance, gardening and landscaping, and traffic sign installation and maintenance.

The salary for the apprenticeship will be euros per month in the first year, euros per month in the second year, and euros per month in the third year, plus a yearly bonus and benefits.
