CalPERS seeks a Governmental Associate Program Analyst (AGPA) in the Member Account Management Division (MAMD), Service Credit Purchase and Elections Section (SCPE), Account Maintenance Team 1.

The Account Maintenance Analyst will be performing but not limited to:

  • Provide system technical support to staff within Account Maintenance Units.
  • Review, research, evaluate account maintenance on Service Credit Purchases.
  • Develop proposals and recommendations for management when technical issues cannot be resolved.
  • Verify workflow requests have been closed and accounts updated.
  • Interpreting, explaining, and communicating policies, procedures, and laws, verbally and in writing, to various levels of an organization, and external customers.
  • Proficient in using Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office Tools (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Accurint databases).
  • Interpersonal skills to work with team members, leadership, participants, business partners, and thirdparty vendors.

Working Conditions

  • This position is designated as officecentered and works primarily onsite at the Sacramento, CA Headquarters at least three weekdays.
  • On a rotational basis, all employees will be required to provide telephone coverage and assistance during normal office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • The telework days will be performed from an approved work site, within the State of California, alternative to the office.
