At the earliest possible date, we are looking for a Platform Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on Kubernetes for our location in Berlin.

Your responsibilities
Supporting the operation of a central multi-tenant platform with more than 80 applications
Further development and operation of the areas Shared-Enterprise-Kubernetes-Cluster, Container Storage (Ceph), Logging/Monitoring, Operators (Golang), Message Broker (Pub/Sub & Streaming), Service Mesh/Istio
Evaluating new technologies and continuous learning
Documenting best practice approaches and supporting cross-departmental knowledge exchange
Ensuring automation and revisioned representation of infrastructure in code
Your profile
Completed studies/training in computer science or a comparable qualification, as well as practical experience in the administration of enterprise Kubernetes clusters
Experience in applying IaC principles (Terraform, Ansible) and automation/manifestation through CI/CD (GitOps, GitFlow)
Focus on telemetry & observability (metrics, logging, tracing)
Experience with virtual and bare-metal infrastructures
Secure application of container storage technologies (Ceph) and secrets management (Hashicorp Vault)
Shell or coding experience (Python, Golang, BASH)
Excellent network knowledge (routing, NAT, firewall, VLAN).
