The Role:

Are you ready to be at the forefront of revolutionizing air mobility? As we embark on the exciting journey towards serial production of our groundbreaking Lilium Jet, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Plant Safety Engineer to join our world-class team in Murfreesboro.

As a Plant Safety Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation of the machines and equipment produced, acquired, and used by us, and ensuring they comply with relevant standards in our manufacturing facilities. You will also contribute to standardizing machine safety to ensure consistency in processes and documentation.

Your Daily Tasks:

Reviewing machine specifications for compliance, both for existing and new machines.
Conducting safety audits on machines to identify potential hazards.
Collaborating with new and existing suppliers to evaluate and integrate safety features for equipment.
Developing strategies for standardizing machines across different assembly lines.
Participating in design reviews to integrate safety measures.
Conducting training on safety protocols and standards.
Promoting a safety-oriented company culture through awareness initiatives.
Regularly updating documentation on equipment specifications and safety protocols.
