- Proven experience of over 5 years in Logistics or Supply Chain and prior experience in Management
- Strong expertise in Logistics processes and their interfaces with other business functions (production, warehousing, procurement), in Custom Clearance and Import and Export processes and required documentation as well as global and country specific transportation regulations
- Experience working with or within a 3rd Party Logistics Service Provider
- Experience with SAP and Transportation Management Systems preferred, strong Microsoft Office skills
- Culturally sensitive, self-starter and team player at all level
- Willingness to travel frequently

Assure weekly and monthly monitoring of consolidation, warehousing, delivery and packaging performance and implement required actions to close the gaps when necessary.

Your Responsibilities
Oversee day to day transportation activities to ensure timely delivery to customers, monitor and forecast inbound and outbound transport requirements and collaborate with Logistics Planner to prepare inbound transportation planning Monitor and maintain the performance of the logistics network ensuring optimized route planning, maximized truck loading factors and improving On Time Delivery Manage the relationships with 3rd Party Logistic Service Providers Review, develop, and implement Logistics Standard Operating Procedures, perform audits and provide recommendations and strategy to improve transportation operations Define the right data management strategy and tool to ensure the accessibility of the information, sustainability of the data and compliance to IT & Systems rules Constantly monitor transportation costs and margins and liaise with SC-EU Finance when required to ensure financial performance is in line with defined targets and develop and implement corrective actions in case of deviations Create and maintain a safety and health culture and awareness within the Logistics department Act as deputy for the Head Distribution and Planning whenever needed and is authorized to take department decisions on his behalf*We Elevate... Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering (or equivalent) and certification or specialized training in Transportation
