Position Purpose:


The National Facilites Manager will oversee and manage the planned and reactive maintenance processes and systems for all US sites, supporting the operations team to ensure that the venues deliver high quality standards aesthetically and functionally.

Supporting the sustainability and climate action goals, the Facilities Manager will drive carbon footprint reduction initiatives within the property division.

The role will be office and field based.


Position Responsibilities:


  • Implement and be responsible for an effective reactive management CAFM system
  • Manage and plan the annual capital maintenance budget
  • Oversee quoted works required following reactive callouts
  • Manage the PPM schedule ensuring full compliance with fire and Health & Safety regulations
  • Work with and assess vendors and contractors to ensure safe, cost effective and timely delivery of all jobs
  • Support the sustainability program to ensure maximum energy and operational efficiencies
  • Support the venue team and carry out venue visits as required do internal audits, check completed works and continually identify and assess required works through to completion
  • Identifying trends in maintenance activity and spend and provide long term solutions
  • Adopting a proactive approach to explore industry improvements and innovation in technology and techniques
  • Maintain up to date asset lists of all equipment in the business
  • Work with finance team to ensure all invoices and terms of payment are scheduled accordingly
  • Work with IT department to ensure smooth transition between IT/ tech requirements with property fabric and electrical services
  • Prioritize and own the resolution of businesscritical callouts minimizing disruption to trade
  • Provide out of hours support when required in emergency situations
  • Conduct any internal team training where required
  • Assist with larger capex projects and new site handovers

Requirements & Minimum Qualifications

  • Be an action orientated, selfstarter and collaborator who develops positive working relationships at all levels
  • Have proven experience in property management for a minimum of 2 years ideally from a hospitality brand
  • FM related qualification preferred
  • Have an in depth understanding of HVAC systems, kitchen equipment and building services
  • Possess exceptional communication and management skills
  • Can lead within a fastpaced environment and deliver amidst demanding timelines
  • Be an excellent problem solver with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Can have fun and showcase that fun personality while being highly organized, with impeccable attention to detail
  • Be able to actively demonstrate and encourage the State of Play leadership principles
